For a refreshing fall cocktail, you can’t beat a crisp glass of pomegranate juice with a splash of delightfully bitter Campari. To lighten things up, a little grapefruit juice does the trick. This also makes a fantastic brunch drink- to make it part of a proper Italian morning, add caffĂ© e latte (coffee with milk), colazione (bread with butter and jam), and stivali favolosi (fabulous boots).
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce Campari
- 2 ounces pomegranate juice
- 2 ounces grapefruit juice (preferably fresh-squeezed)
- Grapefruit twist
- Ice
Procedure:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add Campari, pomegranate juice, and grapefruit juice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with grapefruit twist.
